IAC and the Union of Aircraft Manufacturers of Russia held a working meeting

On September 9, 2026, a working meeting was held at the Interstate Aviation Committee between IAC Chairman Oleg Storchevoy and the President of the Union of Aircraft Manufacturers of Russia, and Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the Federal State Budgetary Institution National Research Center Institute named after N.E. Zhukovsky (Zhukovsky National Research Institute), Academician Boris Aleshin, and Director General of the Union of Aircraft Manufacturers of Russia Alexey Rogozin.

The meeting participants expressed high interest in building contacts and jointly developing solutions on topical industry issues.

The parties agreed to develop cooperation in the field of ensuring aviation safety, improving approaches to certification of civil aviation equipment, and exchanging industry and expert information. Particular attention was paid to the possibilities of combining the competencies of IAC and aviation industry enterprises in solving problems related to the safe operation of aircraft and the development of the regulatory framework.

Also, the delegation of the Union of Aircraft Manufacturers of Russia reviewed the IAC laboratory complex - a modern center of competence of the Eurasian region in the field of processing and analysis of information from flight recorders, where its technical capabilities in the field of studying human factors and aviation safety technologies were presented using specific examples.
