The IAC Investigation team has completed the investigation of the accident involving EC-130B4 RA-07256 helicopter owned by Eastern Alliance Insurance Group occurred in the Primorski Krai (RF) on April 2, 2016.
Most probably, the fatal accident involving EC-130B4 RA-07256 helicopter was caused by PIC's spatial disorientation in meteorological conditions, which didn't comply with VFR (loss of visibility of ground cues and the natural horizon line) resulted in the helicopter uncontrolled descent and ground impact.
Appropriate safety recommendations based on the investigation results were developed.
