On the Web-Conference “Development of Operational Safety and Continuing Airworthiness in the Member States of the Agreement”

On 21-22 October 2020 within the framework of the ICAO-IAC Project RER/01/901 “Development of Operational Safety and Continuing Airworthiness" in the Member States of the Agreement the Interstate Aviation Committee jointly with ICAO and IATA held the on-line Safety Data Processing and State Safety Risk Management Workshop.

During the workshop the following presentations were made:

- Safety Data Collection and Processing Systems: ICAO SIMS;

- Safety Data Collection and Processing Systems: IATA GADM;

- Safety data protection;

- Safety analysis, hazard identification;

- State Safety Risk Management;

- Risk assessment and mitigation measures;

- Acceptance of SMS;

- Performance based oversight.

The seminar's topics generated considerable interest among the region's aviation specialists. During the discussion of the presentations and the exchange of experiences, the participants touched upon practical issues ofthe State Safety Risk Management, safety data processing and exchange, and other relevant topics.
