On the visit of the Civil aviation Authority of Islamic Republic of Iran (CAA IRI) to IAC

On April 6, a delegation of the Civil aviation Authority of Islamic Republic of Iran (CAA IRI), headed by the President of the Civil Aviation Administration of Iran Mohammad Mohammadi Bakhsh, paid an official visit to the Interstate Aviation Committee. During the visit, the parties exchanged opinions on expanding bilateral contacts in aviation safety, accident investigation, airworthiness, and aircraft certification and manufacture. The delegation expressed interest in the IAC laboratory complex, proposing mutually beneficial cooperation in high-tech developments.

The parties highly appreciated the level of interaction between the IAC and the CAA of Iran, which began over 30 years ago, and expressed confidence in the need for closer cooperation, agreeing to conclude new agreements in the field of air accident investigation and continued airworthiness, in addition to previously signed Memorandum. The parties agreed on the advisability of developing mutually beneficial cooperation in the field of aviation personnel training, high technology, and the practice exchange in aviation safety and the sustainable development of civil aviation in the region.
