On the Session of the Council on Aviation and Use of Airspace

On June 21, 2023, at 12:00 at the Interstate Aviation Committee (Moscow, Russian Federation) the Session of the Council on Aviation and Use of Airspace (hereinafter – session, Council) which was attended by plenipotentiary representatives of the States Parties to the Agreement on Civil Aviation and Use of Airspace of 1991 (hereinafter – Agreement) was held.

The session discussed agenda items including the reorganization and improvement of the IAC activities.

Participants of the Session expressed interest in implementing functions by the Interstate Aviation Committee established by Article 7 of the Agreement of 1991 and emphasized their importance.

The plenipotentiary representatives of the States decided to hold a regular session of the Council in November 2023, at which the results of implementing previously adopted IAC protocol instructions will be considered.
