The IAC delegation will take part in the 42nd Assembly of the International Civil Aviation Organization

A delegation of the Interstate Aviation Committee (IAC), headed by IAC Chairman Oleg Storchevoy, will participate in the 42nd Assembly of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), opening of which will take place today, September 23, 2025, at ICAO headquarters in Montreal.

On the sidelines of the 42nd Session of the ICAO Assembly, the IAC delegation will hold a series of working meetings with colleagues from other countries and organizations on the development of regional cooperation, ICAO audits, joint projects to enhance aviation safety, and aviation specialists training.

As part of the work of the ICAO working bodies, the IAC will submit documents for discussion aimed at enhancing the role of regional accident investigation organizations to assist States in the effective implementation of ICAO SARPs.

"The IAC places great emphasis on cooperation with ICAO and is ready to support constructive initiatives aimed at enhancing aviaiton safety and improving international civil aviation norms and standards. I am confident that the 42nd Session of the ICAO Assembly will be another important step toward the safe operation of global civil aviation," notes IAC Chairman, Oleg Storchevoy.
