The accident with An-2 RA-31505 aircraft operated by "Sputnik" Airlines occurred in the Belgorod Region (RF) on October 6, 2013. According to the preliminary information two crew members on board didn't suffer, the aircraft was destroyed and partially burned down.
The Interstate Aviation Committee has formed the Investigation team of the accident in accordance with the Russian Aviation Legislation. The Investigation team started its work.
The Interstate Aviation Committee Investigation team conducted the investigation of the accident with An-2 aircraft occured in the area of Sevryukovo village, Belgorod region, (RF) on October 6, 2013.
In the course of the investigation it was determined:
- above mentioned aircraft is a twin of real An-2 RA-31505 aircraft, i.e. aircraft tail number was unlawfully applied on fuselage (by artisanal method);
- "Civil aircraft registration Certificate" for this aircraft does not exist.
Whereas in accordance with "Civil Aircraft Accident and Incident Investigation Regulations in Russian Federation" approved by RF Goverment Regulation from 18 June, 1998 № 609, the Interstate Aviation Committee is authorized to conduct aircraft accident investigation only with aircraft registered in State Civil Aircraft Register of Russia, the Investigation team work was completed.
