On 10.01.2020 in Antalya Airport, Turkey, the accident involving A-321-231 VQ-BRS aircraft owned by Northwind Ltd occurred. It was a ferry flight performed without passengers. The crew on board escaped unharmed. The aircraft nose landing gear and forward fuselage section suffered significant damage.

Turkish aviation authorities have decided to delegate the investigation of the accident to the State of Operator. The Interstate Aviation Committee has assigned an Investigation team. The Investigation team has started its work.

Investigators from Turkey (State of Occurrence) and France (State of Design) will participate in the accident investigation.
