On August 10, 2023 near Tatarintsevo Village, Moscow Region (RF), the accident involving AX-8 COMANDANTE private single-built hot-air balloon occurred. The pilot and two passengers were on board. It is reported that inflight fire broke out, the persons on board suffered injuries of varying degrees of severity.
The Interstate Aviation Committee has assigned an Investigation team. The Investigation team has started its work.
