According to the information recieved on September 29, 2014, the non-fatal accident involving An-2 RA-40220 aircraft owned by Dmitrievskoe Agricultural Enterprise, LLC occurred near Dmitrievskaya village, Kavkazskiy District, Krasnodar Territory on September, 2012. According to the available information, the aircraft is beyond repair.
The Interstate Aviation Committee has formed an Investigation team of the accident in accordance with the Russian Aviation Legislation. The Investigation team has started its work.
The Interstate Aviation Committee Investigation team has completed the investigation of the accident involving An-2 RA-40220 aircraft owned by Agricultural enterprise Dmitrievskoe, LLC occurred in the Krasnodar Territory (RF) in September 2012.
Due to the lack of valid data about the crew handling the aircraft at the moment of the accident and information about the aircraft it wasn't possible to determine the accident cause by the aircraft evacuation and disassembly procedure precisely before the Investigation team arrival.
The most probable cause of the accident involving the An-2 RA-40220 aircraft was its nosing-over during the emergency landing.
The need of emergency landing, most probably, was caused by unstable engine operation.
It wasn't possible to determine the cause of unstable engine operation because the aircraft owner concealed the fact of the accident.
The appropriate safety recommendations based on the investigation results were developed.
