On 28.08.2019 near Selektsionny village, Lgovsky District (Kursky region), RF the accident (crash) involving Аn-2 RA-40389 private aircraft occurred. According to the available information, during crop-dusting the aircraft performed emergency landing in a field. The PIC did not suffer. The aircraft sustained substantial damage.

The Interstate Aviation Committee has formed an Investigation team in accordance with the Russian Aviation Legislation. The Investigation team has started its work.
