     The accident involving An-2 RA-40646 aircraft operated by Vostok-Avia Airlines occurred near Kezhma village, Krasnoyarsk Territory (RF) on June 19, 2015. According to the available information, 6 people on board escaped unharmed, the aircraft sustained substantial damage.
     The Interstate Aviation Committee has formed the Investigation team of this accident in accordance with the Russian Aviation Legislation. The Investigation team has started its work.

The Interstate Aviation Committee Investigation team has completed the investigation of the accident involving An-2 RA-40646 aircraft owned by Vostok-Avia, Ltd occurred in the Krasnoyarsk Krai (RF) on June 19, 2015.

The accident involving An-2 RA-40646 aircraft occurred during the emergency landing on a forest. The landing was caused by inadvertent in-flight engine shutdown as a result of destruction of bronze filling of hub 62.06.02 of master rod big end of crank mechanism.

Most probably, the destruction of hub bronze filling was caused by manufactured flaw consisting in a lack of bronze adhesion with steel base on the part of a surface.

The appropriate safety recommendations based on the investigation results were developed.
