The non-fatal accident involving An-2 RA-54828 aircraft owned by Lemaks, Ltd occurred near Zainsk town, Republic of Tatarstan on 3 April 2016. According to the available information, the aircraft was damaged.

The Interstate Aviation Committee has formed the Investigation team of the accident in accordance with the Russian Aviation Legislation. The Investigation team has started its work.

TThe Interstate Aviation Committee Investigation team has completed the investigation of the accident involving An-2 RA-54828 aircraft owned by Technoservice-A, Ltd occurred in the Republic of Tatarstan on April 3, 2016.

Most probably, the accident involving An-2 RA-54828 aircraft after its takeoff in order to perform crop dusting was caused by inadvertent engine cut-off caused by water ingestion into fuel flow system. Most probably, water ingestion into engine fuel flow system was caused by violation of refueling procedure by the crew.

The aircraft sustained significant damage during the emergency landing on slush soft surface.

The appropriate safety recommendations based on the investigation results were developed.
