On July 24, 2024 at the area of the Tynda airport in the Amur region the air accident occurred to the Angara Airline An-24RV RA-47315 aircraft.
The Interstate Aviation Committee has set up the investigation team. The team has launched the investigation activities.
On July 25, 2025 Oleg Storchevoy, the Chairman of the Interstate Aviation Committee, held the operational meeting at Tynda with the members of the investigation team of the air accident to the Angara Airline aircraft, occurred on July 24, 2025 at the area of Tynda airport in the Amur region. The preliminary evidence has been discussed, the measures to undertake and action plan have been developed.
At midnight of July 25, 2025 the Intestate Aviation Committee Chairman shipped the An-24 RA-47315 aircraft onboard recorders to Moscow.
To ensure the prompt investigation the IAC experts carried out the overnight inspection, opening and removal of the information media out of the containers that showed the traces of the high temperature impact.
The flight data medium (the magnetic tape) was completely destroyed in a fire, the CVR data have been preserved.
The record analysis is now ongoing. Provisionally there were no recorded failures of the aircraft systems prior to its impact with ground.
The IAC team is now proceeding with the investigation to determine the causes and circumstances of the air accident.
