The investigation of the accident involving Аn-26B ЕХ-126 aircraft (registration of the Kyrgyz Republic) owned by Sky Way Air Company, occurred on August 22nd, 2020, near Juba International Airport, South Sudan, has been completed. After takeoff from Juba International Aiport during the climb, the aircraft entered a descent mode and impacted the ground at a distance of 3 km to the northwest of the airport. There were 3 crew members and 6 passengers on board. All the people on board were killed.

The investigation was conducted by the Investigation team of South Sudan, wh ere the accident occurred.

In accordance with Annex 13 to the Convention on International Civil Aviation and the Agreement on collaboration in the field of investigation and prevention of air accidents between the Interstate Aviation Committee (IAC) and the State Civil Aviation Agency of the Kyrgyz Republic (SCAA of the Kyrgyz Republic) the accredited representative was assigned to participate in the IAC investigation. The specialists of the SCAA of the Kyrgyz Republic took part in the investigation as the advisers of the Accredited Representative.
