According to the recieved information, the accident involved AC4-DU RA-0423A single-built private glider occurred near Adazi Airfield (Latvia) on May 4, 2016. The pilot on board was killed, the aircraft was destroyed.
Transport Accident and Incident Investigation Bureau (TAIIB) of Latvia conducts the accident investigation.
The Interstate Aviation Committee has appointed the accredited representative in order to participate in the accident investigation in accordance with the Annex 13 to the Convention on International Civil Aviation and Russian Aviation Legislation.
