On August 20, 2026, when flying on route Ufa (Russian Federation) - Bokhtar (Republic of Tajikistan) the serious incident involving Boeing 737-800 RA-73318 aircraft operated by Nordwind Airlines (Russian Federation) occurred in course of the descent related to the cabin depressurization. The aircraft landed normally at Bokhtar International Airport (Republic of Tajikistan).
In accordance with the Annex 13 to the Convention on International Civil Aviation, the Agreement on cooperation in the civil aircraft accident investigation and prevention, Protocol on Cooperation in accidents' and serious incidents' investigation and prevention between the Civil Aviation Agency under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Interstate Aviation Committee, the Interstate Aviation Committee has instituted the investigation team. The team has started its work.
