C-2M "Синтал" RA-0152A 11.09.2014

     The accident involving S-2M Sintal RA-0152A aircraft owned by Tyazhpressmash, JSC of Ryazan town occurred near Titovo village, Penza Region (RF) on September 11, 2014. According to the available information, the pilot on board was killed.
     The Interstate Aviation Committee has formed the Investigation team of the accident in accordance with the Russian Aviation Legislation. The Investigation team has started its work.
    

     The Interstate Aviation Committee Investigation team has completed the investigation of the accident involving Sintal C-2M RA-0152A single-built aircraft owned by Tyazhpressmash, Ltd occurred in the Penza Region (RF) on September 11, 2014.
     The probable cause of the accident involving Sintal C-2M RA-0152A single-built aircraft was its beyond stall angle recovery during turning at low altitude, during landing approach in the dusk that resulted in aircraft stalling with possible spin entry, aircraft ground impact and pilot fatality.
     The factor contributing to the accident could be the lack of instruments illumination in cockpit that makes it difficult to monitor instrument readings.   
      The appropriate safety recommendations based on the investigation results were developed.
