     The accident involving KAV-44 RA-1975G single-built private helicopter occurred in the Kamchatla Region (RF) on July 23, 2014. According to the available information, the pilot and a passenger on board were killed.
     The Interstate Aviation Committee has formed the Investigation team of the accident in accordance with the Russian Aviation Legislation. The Investigation team has started its work.

The Interstate Aviation Committee Investigation teamhas completed the investigation of the accident involving КАВ-44 RA-1975G single-built private helicopter occurred in the Kamchatka Region (RF) on July 23, 2014.
The fatal accident involving КАВ-44 RA-1975G single-built helicopter, most probably, was caused by the pilot spatial disorientation performing fog operation that resulted in aircraft water collection.
Performing operation the PIC violated 200x3000 specified minima and didn't take FOM SN-18 safety provision of Robinson R-44 II helicopter into consideration.
The appropriate safety recommendations based on the investigation results were developed.
