The accident with Elitar-202 RA-1286G private aircraft occurred near Yelshanka locality, Orenburg region (RF) on June 28, 2016. According to the available information the pilot and a passenger on board were killed, the aircraft was burnt down.

The Interstate Aviation Committee has assigned the Investigation team of the accident in accordance with the Russian Aviation Legislation. The Investigation team has started its work.

Investigation team of the Interstate Aviation Committee has completed the investigation of the accident with Elitar-202 RA-1286G private FVSP aircraft occurred in the Orenburg region (RF) on 28.06.2016.

The accident with Elitar-202 RA-1286G private FVSP aircraft, most probably, was caused by the PIC’s incapacitation.

Aircraft collision with ground occurred with the inoperative engine.

Most probably, the engine cut-off had been performed by PIC prior to incapacitation (the unconsciousness). There were no signs revealed of the engine failure.

PIC, most probably, did not have time to activate the parachute escape system ready for use.

Appropriate safety recommendations based on the investigation results were developed
