Eurocopter AS-350 B3 RA-07275 01.11.2016

The accident involving Eurocopter AS-350 B3 RA-07275 helicopter owned by Eltsovka Airlines, CJSC occurred near Tsimlyanskaya street (Adler city, RF) on November 01, 2016. According to the available information, the PIC and 5 passengers on board were injured, the rotorcraft sustained substantial damage. 

The Interstate Aviation Committee has formed the Investigation team of the accident in accordance with the Russian Aviation Legislation. The Investigation team has started its work.

The Investigation team of the fatal accident involving AS-350B3 RA-07275 helicopter continues its work at the accident site.

Remained helicopter fragments were evacuated to Sochi Airport where their detailed examination was carried out.   

In accordance with provisions of Annex 13 "Investigation of accidents and incidents" to the Convention on International Civil Aviation experts of the Bureau of Investigation and Analysis of France - state of the helicopter designer and manufacture and also the specialists of the helicopter and engine organisations-designers joined the team work.

The Interstate Aviation Committee informs about the progress of the accident investigation involving AS 350B3e RA-07275 helicopter owned by Eltsovka Airlines, CJSC.

The Interim statement (preliminary reference) on the investigation progress has been published on the IAC website.

Interim statement (preliminary reference) is issued in accordance with item 2.4.12, Aircraft Accident and Incident Investigation regulations of the Russian Federation, and item 7.4, Annex 13 to the Convention on International Civil Aviation (ICAO). The Interim statement includes actual information collected by the Investigation team to date.

The Investigation team continues its work on collection and analysis of information related to the crew training, assessment of the crew actions during the accident flight, and also of the aircraft and its systems' operability.

The Investigation team will issue the Final Report when the investigation is completed.

The Information presented in the Interim statement is preliminary and might be revised and updated according to the investigation results.
