On September 3, 2024, in the Irkutsk Region, RF, when performing air ambulance task the accident involving Mi-171А2 RA-22880 helicopter operated by Barguzin Airlines, JSC occurred. It is reported that 4 crewmembers and 2 passengers (medical atendants) were on board. The rotorcraft sustained substantial damage, two crewmembers received injuries.
The Interstate Aviation Committee has formed an Investigation team. The Investigation team has started its work.
