     The accident involving Mi-2 RA-15643 helicopter owned by Kazan Aviation Enterprise, JSC occurred near urban-type settlement (Almetyevsky District, Republic of Tatarstan, RF) on December 26, 2014. According to the avaliable information, the pilot and a passenger on board escaped unharmed, the helicopter was destroyed.
     The Interstate Aviation Committee has formed the Investigation team of the accident in accordance with the Russian Aviation Legislation. The Investigation team has started its work.

     The Interstate Aviation Committee Investigation team has completed the investigation of the accident involving Mi-2 RA-15643 helicopter owned by Kazan Aviation Enterprise, JSC occurred in the Republic of Tatarstan (RF) on December 26, 2014.
      The accident involving Mi-2 RA-15643 helicopter was caused by insufficient PIC's visuospatial attention during descending and hovering that resulted in collision of the main rotor blades with aerial PTL wires.
      Contributing factors to the accident could be:
      - lack of obstacles at the flight map track;
      - lack of aerial PTL wire marking at the area of petroleum pipeline;
      - insufficient quality of preliminary and preflight navigation training.

The appropriate safety recommendations based on the investigation results were developed.
