On 04.08.2018 at 05:43 Moscow time near Vankor airfield, Krasnoyarsk Krai (RF) the accident with Mi-8АМТ RA-25640 helicopter operated by UTair - helicopter services JSC occurred. According to the available information, after takeoff, the helicopter by its main rotor blades collided with the external load of another helicopter that had taken off earlier. All 15 passengers and 3 crew members on board were killed, the rotorcraft was destroyed and partially burned down. Another helicopter was not damaged and performed landing at Vankor airfield.
