On September 28, 2024, near Shyeva landing site (Pakistan) the accident involving Мi-8МТV-1 RA-24537 helicopter owned by PANH Helicopters, JSC occurred. It is reported that 3 crew members and 12 passengers were on board. As a result of the accident 6 persons were killed and 9 persons were injured. The rotorcraft sustained substantial damage.
The accident investigation is being conducted by the Bureau of Air Safety Investigation (Pakistan). Based on Annex 13 to the Convention on International Civil Aviation and Russian Aviation Legislation, the Interstate Aviation Committee (IAC) has appointed an investigator-in-charge and advisers to participate in the investigation.
The IAC would like to emphasize the fact that, in accordance with the Standards of Annex 13, the official reporting of the investigation progress and results is the responsibility of the investigation authority (Islamic Republic of Pakistan).
