On February 21, 2026, near Panayevsk landing site, Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous District, RF, the accident involving Mi-8Т RA-24166 helicopter owned by Yamal Airlines, Ltd, occurred. It is reported that 3 crew members and 7 passengers were on board. As a result of the accident one crew member was injured, the rotorcraft was damaged.
The Interstate Aviation Committee has formed the Investigation team. The Investigation team has started its work.
