     The accident involving Mi-8T RA-24430 helicopter owned by "Eltsovka Aviation Enterprise": occurred on "Kargosol-Prichal" landing site in the Tomsk Region (RF) on December 5, 2013. According the the available information, 3 crew members and 15 passengers on board escaped unharmed, the rotorcraft was damaged.
      The Interstate Aviation Committee has formed the Investigation team of the accident in accordance with the Russian Aviation Legislation. The Investigation team has started its work.

The Interstate Aviation Committee Investigation team has completed the investigation of the accident involving Mi-8Т RA-24430 helicopter owned by AEROKUZBASS Ltd occurred in the Tomsk Region (RF) on December 5, 2013.
Most probably, the accident involving Mi-8Т RA-24430 helicopter during no-run takeoff with close to maximum permitted weigh was caused by take-off heading selection not taking actual wind direction and force into account that resulted in unintential descending and helicopter left progressive turn, limited take-off sector output (in PTL direction) and emergency landing on forested area during acceleration.
The aprropriate safety recommendations based on the investigation results were developed.
