On June 20, 2017, a non-fatal accident involving Mi-8T RA-25547 helicopter owned by Altay Airlines, Ltd occurred at Cedar landing site, Tomsk Region (RF). According to the available information, three crew members were on board. The rotorcraft sustained substantial damage.

The Interstate Aviation Committee has formed the Investigation team in accordance with the Russian Aviation Legislation. The Investigation team has started its work.

Based on the FATA telegram dated June 20, 2017 aviation event involving Mi-8T RA-25547 aircraft occurred on June 20, 2017 has been classified as a serious incident.

In accordance with PRAPI-98, clause 1.1.8 the investigation of the given event will be conducted by the West-Siberian Office of Rosaviatsia Interterritorial Department.
