On August 31, 2024, near Vachkazhets volcano mountain range (Kamchatka Peninsula, RF) the accident involving Мi-8Т RA-25656 helicopter owned by Vityaz-Aero Aviation Company, Ltd occurred.
It is reported that 3 crew members and 19 passengers were on board. As a result of the accident the helicopter was completely destroyed; information about the severity of the accident consequences is to be defined.
The Interstate Aviation Committee has formed an Investigation team. The Investigation team has started its work.
