The accident with "Blanik-M" RA-1152G private trike occurred in the area of Turinskaya Sloboda locality (Azimuth 310°, 75 km from Tumen) on September 1, 2016. According to the available information the pilot on board was killed.
The Interstate Aviation Committee has formed the Investigation team of the accident in accordance with the Russian Aviation Legislation. The Investigation team started its work.
The Interstate Aviation Committee has completed the investigation of the accident with "Blanik-M Trike" RA-1152G single-built private trike occurred in the Sverdlovsk region (RF) on 01.09.2016.
Most probably, the accident with "Blanik-M Trike" RA-1152G single-built private trike was caused by pilot’s incapacitation during the climb after takeoff due to a presence of medicinal agents in his body which effect, in accordance with forensic and medical examination, could result in an alteration of consciousness until its loss.
Contributing factor of the accident could be the absence of a List of drugs prohibited for flight personnel during the flight executions in Russia FAR on medical Examinations in Civil Aviation dated 2002 and other regulatory documents. A Safety Recommendation to develop the List was issued following the investigation results of the accident with YAk-42D RA-42434 aircraft occurred on 07.09.2011.
Appropriate safety recommendations based on the investigation results were developed.
