On 01.10.2018, at distance of 5 km south-west of Bodaybo town (Irkutsk Region, RF), at the Vitim River channel, the accident with R-44-II RA-05758 helicopter owned by Gold-mining Cooperative Vitim, CJSC occurred. According to the available information, the pilot and a passenger were on board, the helicopter hit PTL and fell into the water. The rotorcraft sank, the pilot and passenger location is unknown.

The Interstate Aviation Committee has appointed the Investigation team in accordance with the Russian Aviation Legislation. The Investigation team has started its work.
