     The accident with R-44 RA-06217 helicopter occurred near Inta locality, Komi Republic (RF). According to the available information the pilot on board was killed, the rotorcraft was destroyed.
      The Interstate Aviation Committee has formed the Investigation team of the accident in accordance with the Russian Aviation Legislation. The Investigation team started its work.

      The Investigation team of the Interstate Aviation Committee has completed the investigation of the accident with Robinson R-44 II RA-06217 helicopter owned by "Translizing" LLC occurred in the Republic of Komi (RF) on April 30, 2014.
      Most probably the accident with Robinson R-44 II RA-06217 helicopter was caused by loss of altitude monitoring by PIC in conditions of reduced visibility and ground whiteout conditions (lack of contrast and natural horizon visibility) performing operation in below minima meteorological conditions that resulted in uncontrolled helicopter descent and its ground impact.
      The appropriate safety recommendations based on the investigation results were developed.
