The accident with R-66 RA-06375 helicopter owned by "AltaiAvia" Ltd occurred at a distance of 40 km from Artybash locality (lake Teletskoye, Republic of Altai, RF) on February 12, 2017. According to the information available the helicopter fell into the lake Teletskoye. Its search is in progress.

The Interstate Aviation Committee has formed an Investigation team in accordance with the Russian Aviation Legislation. The Investigation team started its work.

The Interstate Aviation Committee (IAC) informs about the suspension of the R-66 RA-06375 helicopter (owned by AltayAvia, LLC) accident investigation.

Preliminary report on the investigation progress is published on the IAC website.

Preliminary report is issued in accordance with clause 2.4.12 of Civil Aviation Regulations “Investigation of Air Accidents and Incidents in the Russian Federation” and clause 7.4 of ICAO Annex 13 to Convention on International Civil Aviation. The Interim statement contains factual information acquired so far by the Investigation team.

Upon completion of investigation works the Final Report will be issued by the Investigation team.

Information presented in the Interim statement is preliminary and can be specified and updated in accordance with the investigation results.
