The accident involving R-66 RA-06375 helicopter owned by Altaiavia, Ltd occurred at a distance of 40 km from Artybash village (Lake Teletskoye, Republic of Altai, RF) on February 12, 2017. According to the available information, the helicopter fell into the Lake Teletskoye. Its search is in progress.

The Interstate Aviation Committee has formed an Investigation team in accordance with the Russian Aviation Legislation. The Investigation team has started its work.

The Interstate Aviation Committee (IAC) reports that the investigation of the accident involving R-66 RA-06375 helicopter (owned by AltayAvia, LLC) has been suspended.

Interim statement on the investigation progress is published on the IAC website.

Interim statement is issued in accordance with clause 2.4.12 of Regulations on Civil Aircraft Accident and Incident investigation in the Russian Federation and clause 7.4 of ICAO Annex 13 to the Convention on International Civil Aviation. The Interim statement includes aactual information received todate by the Investigation team.

Upon completion of investigation works the Final Report will be issued by the Investigation team.

Information presented in the Interim statement is preliminary and can be specified and updated in accordance with the investigation results.
