On 04.05.2017 the accident with R-44 RA-04156 helicopter owned by Light Air, LLC occurred near Beloretsk town, Bashkortostan, RF. According to the available information the pilot and two passengers on board were killed, the rotorcraft was destroyed.
The Interstate Aviation Committee has assigned the Investigation team in accordance with the Russian Aviation Legislation. The Investigation team started its work.
The Interstate Aviation Committee informs about the progress of Robinson R-44 RA-04156 helicopter (operated by Light Air Airlines CJSC) accident investigation.
Final report on the investigation progress is published on the IAC web-site.
Preliminary Report is issued in accordance with clause 2.4.12 of Civil Aviation Regulations “Investigation of Air Accidents and Incidents in the Russian Federation” and clause 7.4 of ICAO Annex 13 to Convention on International Civil Aviation. The Interim statement contains factual information acquired so far by the Investigation team.
Upon completion of investigation works the Final Report will be issued by the Investigation team.
Information presented in the Interim statement is preliminary and can be specified and updated in accordance with the investigation results.
