The accident with Robinson R-66 RA-05783 helicopter owned by "KrasAvia" occurred in the area of Narva locality of the Krasnoyarsk Territory on September 15, 2016. According to the available information two passengers on board were injured, the rotorcraft was damaged.

The Interstate Aviation Committee has assigned the Investigation team of the accident in accordance with the Russian Aviation Legislation. The Investigation team has started its work.

The Interstate Aviation Committee Investigation team has completed the investigation of the accident with R-66 RA-05783 helicopter owned by "KrasAvia" State Enterprise, occurred in Krasnoyarsk Krai (RF) on September 15, 2016.

Most probably, the accident with R-66 RA-05783 helicopter was caused by PIC's piloting error consisting in disproportionate flight controls’ inputs during takeoff, which resulted in the subsequent uncontrollable descent and impact with ground.

Contributing factor was following: the pilot left out of consideration the provisions of R66 Pilot’s Operating Handbook Section 5 "Performance" related to a takeoff profile.

Appropriate safety recommendations based on the investigation results were developed.
