The accident involving R-66 RA-06354 private helicopter occurred at the outskirts of Hlupenskoye forestry, Odintsovky District, Moscow Region (RF) on August 21, 2015. According to the available information, the pilot on board escaped unharmed, the aircraft sustained substantial damage.
The Interstate Aviation Committee has formed the Investigation team of this accident in accordance with the Russian Aviation Legislation.

The Interstate Aviation Committee Investigation team has completed the investigation of the accident involving R-66 RA-06354 helicopter owned by System Leasing 24, CJSC occurred in the Moscow Region (RF) on August 21, 2015.

Most probably, the accident involving Robinson R-66 RA-06354 helicopter was caused by the pilot's control inputs resulted in rotorcraft placing into low-G conditions (the weightless or close to it state) and the right roll development.

The PIC’s actions to recover from a low-G situation were inconsistent with the Pilot’s Operating Handbook provisions, which resulted in high vertical speed descent and helicopter ground impact.

Appropriate safety recommendations based on the investigation results were developed.
