The accident involving Sapsan RA-0390A single-built aircraft occurred in Zuzino village, Ikryaninsky District, Astrakhan Region on June 16, 2015. According to the available information, the pilot on board was injured, the aircraft sustained substantial damage.
The Interstate Aviation Committee has formed the Investigation team of this accident in accordance with the Russian Aviation Legislation. The Investigation team has started its work.

The Interstate Aviation Committee Investigation team has completed the investigation of the accident involving Sapsan RA-0390A single-built private aircraft occurred in the Astrakhan Region (RF) on June 16, 2015.
      The most probable cause of the accident involving Sapsan RA – 0390А single-built aircraft was piloting technique failure involved forward speed loss during final turn that resulted in aircraft left wing dropping and ground impact.
The contributing factor was insufficient training and lack of a pilot proficiency.
      The appropriate safety recommendations based on the investigation results were developed.
