The accident involving SP-01 (KP) RA-0093A aircraft owned by Pasikov G.V. IE occurred near Romanovskaya landing site, Rostov Region (RF) on August 19, 2016.

According to the available information, the PIC and a pilot on board were injured, the aircraft was destroyed and burnt down.

The Interstate Aviation Committee has formed the Investigation team of the accident in accordance with the Russian Aviation Legislation. The Investigation team has started its work.

The Interstate Aviation Committee Investigation team has completed investigation of the accident involving SP-01 (KP) RA-0093A single-built private aircraft occurred in the Rostov Region (RF) on August 19, 2016.

The accident involving SP-01(KP) RA-0093A single-built aircraft was caused by its stall when maneuvering at extremely low altitude.

The accident was caused by a combination of the following factors:

- maneuvering at unacceptably low altitude;

- loss of speed monitoring by PIC.

Appropriate safety recommendations based on the investigation results were developed.
