TBC-2MC RA-2099G 02.06.2017

On 02.06.2017 an accident with TVS-2MS RA-2099G FVSP aircraft owned by Federal State Unitary Enterprise «Siberian Aeronautical Research Institute named after S. A. Chaplygin» occurred during takeoff from Chinggis Khaan Airport (Ulan Bator, Republic of Mongolia). According to the available information during the takeoff from Chinggis Khaan Airport the aircraft hit the ground. Two crew members, two maintenance technicians and five passengers did not suffer, the aircraft sustained damage. The Interstate Aviation Committee has assigned the Investigation team in accordance with the Russian Aviation Legislation. The Investigation team has started its work. 

The Interstate Aviation Committee informs about the progress of TBC-2MC RA-2099G FVSP aircraft operated by SibNIA named after S.A. Chaplygin accident investigation.

Preliminary report on the investigation progress is published on the IAC web-site. 

Preliminary Report is issued in accordance with clause 2.4.12 of Civil Aviation Regulations “Investigation of Air Accidents and Incidents in the Russian Federation” and clause 7.4 of ICAO Annex 13 to Convention on International Civil Aviation. The Interim statement contains factual information acquired so far by the Investigation team. 

Upon completion of investigation works the Final Report will be issued by the Investigation team.

Information presented in the report is preliminary and can be specified and updated in accordance with the investigation results.
