Z-42M RA-2304G 20.09.2014

     The accident involving (Alin) Z-42M RA-2304G private aircraft occurred in 2 km from Murmank town (RF) on September 20, 2014. Acccording to the available information, the pilot and a passenger on board were killed.
     The Interstate Aviation Committee has formed the Investigation team of the accident in accordance with the Russian Aviation Legislation. The Investigation team has started its work.
    

     The Interstate Aviation Committee Investigation team has completed the investigation of the accident involving Zlin Z-42M RA-2304G single-built private aircraft occurred in the Murmansk Region (RF) on September 20, 2014.
      The most probable cause of the accident involving Zlin Z-42M RA-2304G single-built aircraft was exceeding the stalling angle of the aircraft by the crew after engine shutdown in the air resulted in aircraft stall, ground impact and fatality of the PIC and a passenger.
      The engine shutdown in-flight, most probably, was caused by the fuel stop because of the crew faulty actions during fuel system operation during flight.
      The appropriate safety recommendations based on the investigation results were developed.
